So we spent the best 7 days of our life to this point in Kauai. It was a warm 80 degrees and beautiful! We spent the week by the beach and adventuring around the island. We loved it. Our kids were great and Gma and Gpa were wonderful hosts. Thanks for all the great memories!
(m got woken up for the luau and wasn't real into pictures... can you tell?)

Jon took us snorkeling and boating... It was a blast and we got to swim with a giant sea turtle, see a family of dolphins, and find a couple whales playing.... It was cool!

We took Cruisers around the North shore to see the big swells everyone was talking about... Apparently the tandem bike idea was super exhausting for J

M's new thing is to make this bizarre face when you ask her to smile. It is a little embarrassing! :)

This is the whole gang enjoying the view of the waves on the North Shore while we biked...

M LOVES Angie!!! It was even one of her recently added vocab words. She started saying like 10 new words on the trip but won't say them now that we are back... I think the Hawaiin air was good for her, we might need to go back soon!

Mmm.... coconut milk!

J became obsessed with "Pina Chaladas". He even ordered them himself!

The luau was awesome! Dinner was delicious and the show was great! My favorite part of the trip! Plus I loved that we found matching outfits for the kids for it. They looked cute, even if M didn't act very cute that night :)

If you walked out on our beach you could cross the water to a little island that J soon named "Treasure Island." Eric and Ang took him here a lot to hunt for crabs, shells, and star fish!
The resort was so pretty! It was filled with pools and beautiful landscaping! The resort was right on the beach also, so you never needed to leave! It was paradise!

This is when we got home on Sunday. While we unpacked our kids sat at the window eating cereal and looking out at the 4 inches of snow! We went from sand-castles to snowmen in the same day! Wierd!
Thanks again!!! We LOVED it!!!!
