Home from NYC!

I was lucky enough to take 7 great students of mine to a journalism conference in NYC for 5 days.  It was held on Columbia campus and was a great learning experience.  We visited lots of sites in the evening and had a blast.  Marilyn came along with me to keep me company and help herd the kids.  Thanks!

Above is Ground Zero.  It looks like a big construction site now, and it makes it kind of hard to imagine what happened there.  However, there was definitely a feeling of significance there.  So sad to image the lives that were lost in such a horrible and also heroic way!

I sure missed my kids and was glad to be home to their crazy wonderful world!  Ryan did a great job playing mommy and daddy for the week....  I am a lucky girl!  Thanks!
